Welcome Terry Rogers, to the Westminster Family! Meet Our New CEOToday, Westminster Communities of Florida welcomes Terry Rogers as its next Chief Executive Officer. Rogers succeeds current CEO Roger Stevens, who is retiring April 24.
“I am not only thrilled to be joining Westminster, but humbled to be joining an organization whose mission of care and service has been put into action today perhaps more than ever,” said Rogers. “The commitment of the Westminster team and residents is awe-inspiring, and I am ready to hit the ground running in supporting all that we do.”
Westminster, the nation’s 12th-largest not-for-profit senior living organization, serves more than 7,000 residents in 22 communities throughout Florida. The Board of Directors announced the appointment of Rogers to succeed Stevens in February 2020, after a national search.
Rogers previously served as President and CEO of Christian Living Communities and Cappella Living Solutions, multi-site senior living and healthcare organization based in Englewood, Colo., near Denver. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Financial Management, Rogers is a noted leader in the field of senior living and a regular presenter at regional and national conferences. He and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Phillips Rogers, an emergency room physician, have relocated to Central Florida from the Denver area.
